Ambassadors are music students of University or high school level who advocate to support the mission and the vision of the Foundation by representing the Foundation in their school and various ensembles. They are spokespersons who carry the essence and purpose of the Foundation throughout communities in the United States. Ambassadors also facilitate the collection of used and new accessories of all kinds (all instruments) by sharing the initiative with their friends and colleagues. These donations are distributed through various other programs in SVIMF including Scholars, partnerships with other music education organizations, and independent community outreach projects.

With many unusual circumstances in schools across the country, the program has expanded to accommodate the unique situation of each Ambassador. Some projects may be similar to the donation collections, but other developments include designing eduational content for the Student Scholars program and developing the social media.
