Fiercely rooted in classical music through generations of family, the girl who left her Michigan home to study with the world’s greats as a young bass player, has grown into an inspiring confident woman imploring others to galvanize our youth through music education. Her 31 year career of teaching instrumental music in the prominent district of the Birmingham Public Schools, Michigan USA, is only the beginning of her vision to inspire young children.
This vivaciously magnetic woman has cultivated her wisdom and knowledge from experiences of, Indiana University bachelor of music education, Oakland University Master of Arts in Teaching, serving as President of community orchestras, world class symphony orchestra performances working with prominent artists and conductors, youth symphonies, numerous student orchestral competitions, chamber ensembles as performer and conductor, and numerous experiences in character education. Lynne’s study of music encompasses some of the greats in the double bass world; Stuart Sankey, Larry Hurst, Bruce Brandsby, Marshall Hutchinson, and Stephen Molina. Some of her experiences celebrate performances with Neeme Jarvi conductor, Earl Klugh American guitarist and composer, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
A continuous entrepreneurial spirit, master education scholar, who inspires and executes for the good of our youth. Her ethics are rooted in truth to reach new levels from herself. Completing her mission of guiding children’s organizations to succeed through music is paramount. As an executive advisor to the Samuel Vargas International Music Foundation, her experience and knowledge will invigorate executives to unleash the boundaries of possibilities, for young musicians all over the world.
